Ini bukan Salwa Abdul Rahman tapi Salwar Kameez

in crap

I’ve always wanted a punjabi suit. Few months back a friend of mine brought me to the Indian Street in Klang where she always shop for her Deepavali clothing and I managed to buy one punjabi suit. But it was too big and I was too lazy to send it for alteration that it still hang inside my wardrobe – besar dan tak teralter.

Looking at my meter kemalasan, ada can jugak tahun depan baru aku nak hantar alter dan maka tahun depan jugaklah aku baru dapat pakai.

Yet, I had the chance to wear one this year. But it was not the one from the Indian street but from some street in Pakistan.

Initially he talked about wanting to buy the salwar kameez [or punjabi suitlah] for himself tapi aku biasalakan, mestila getik nak mintak jugak so komfemlah dia kene belikan [apa kau dah gila tak nak belikan untuk si saiko ni?].

He brought his colleagues along, Saadia to choose for me and I have to say she has quite a good taste.

I love both of the baju that she chose for me. One is plain white with some simple embroidery and the other one was yellow with green embroidery, lengkap dengan selendang.

Aku sebenarnya gatal nak pakai di pagi raya [tak sabar gila ok, dasar jakun haha] tapi kalau rasa nak kene maki dengan nenek aku, bolehla pakai.

“Ni mano pulak monggali sosat kek ghumah aku pepagi ghayo niiiiiiiiii?”

Mungkinkahhhh?

So disebabkan kegatalan yang tak dapat dibendung, I wore the white one on the third raya for one of my aunt’s open house. I’ve never worn all white before sebab a) aku menggelupur komfem jadi kaler lain dalam 5 menet, b) white made me look super katik and seperti menambahkan lemak.

Memula aku pakaila selendang dia kan, feeling-feeling Benazir Bhutto gitu tapi lama-lama fuhhhhhhhhhhhhh menitik peluhh, campak kan je la hehe. Tak kuasa aku heh!

Other that the selendang, the suit was so comfortable.

He is wearing the male version of salwar kameez. The top can be in many colours but the pants are usually white. And that is the most “Pakistani” colour chosen by his colleagues for him – comfy too.

Kesimpulan, suka tau.

Ni ada lagi satu tak pakai ni, eiii bila nak pakai niiiiiiiiii. Bilaaaa?

Tak sabaaaaaaaar [dan tak sabar nak camwhore juga sebenarnya hehe]

Keji kan. Kan.
