I am unwell since the past few weeks and needed somebody to be by my side every day. I cannot be left alone . Bukan cannot but refused to ditinggalkan oleh si peninggal.
Anyway, the bedmate was not around last night and he asked me to spend time with my emak. Truth is, I was quite malas to go, not because I don’t want to see her but just because aku malas nak mengangkut barang. Yelakan, being me, nak tidur semalam macam nak tidur seminggu. Semua nak bawak padahal poyo je lebih.
Emak on the other hand adalah sangat suka aku tidur di sana. In fact, she has been calling me everyday to check on my progress. Yesterday I noticed my skin on my hands are menggelupas, as in the whole tangan dari atas ke bawah kulit dia menggelupas and nampak sungguh buruk dan menakutkan and I was itching all over my body. When I told her that she told me to come home so she could take a look at them.
It is nothing more soothing than the tlc from your emak, especially when you are unwell. Nak- nak budak manja and mengada macam aku ni kan hehe. Sangatlah suka bila diberi atttention :P. I watched tv, ate her ginger biscuits [favourite emak ni] and we talked- mainly about her coming exam and gossiping about semua orang yang boleh digossip hehe.
While laying on the bed beside her, in the dark I wondered, apasal aku jarang balik ni? The pillows adalah sangat soft and the bed fadalah so warm. And I felt totally safe.
This place really feels like home.
