The island, at last!

Ok, I will try to make it as short as possible. panjang-panjang kang muntah nanahla pulak. Hehe.

Lepas dah masak duduk dekat Malé it’s time to head for our vacation. Yeayyyyyyy.

Adalah tak sabar ok. Dalam pukul 9 pagi macam tu we took the boat to the island and head to Embudu Village [they provide a boat to the island and to the airport]. Embudu tu kira macam nama resort la.

The journey took about 25-30 minuts macam tu. Sebelum naik bot aku makan ubat mabuk dulu tak pepasal kang termuntah pulak, free je ikan semua makan pancake masa breakfast hehe.

On the way tu, we passed few islands and they all looked soooooooo chantek.

Tak lama lepas tu sampailah ke Embudu Village, keluar je from the boat first thing yang aku notice adalah coral dan air yang fucking jernih.

Sambil isi borang check in sambil minum air yang sangatla manisnyaaaa. Macam nak membunuh ok manisnya, ni bukan manis sedap ke apa ni manis tiruan.

Oh ye, we went for fullboard maknanya semua makan adalah covered – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Buffet cuma nak minum air kene belila [dan harganya macam kimak]. Either than or you can pay for drink package USD28 per day. Taik tak taik?

For those who went for all inclusive, air adalah termasuk package, jangan tanya aku harga aku tak tahu. In fact aku tak tahu pun berapa harga exact fullboard yang aku tahu enjoy aje hehe.

Lepas dah check in, we went to check out our room.

Adalah terdiam bila masuk kerana adalah sangat basic. Bilik pon ala-ala hotel Ah Long RM40  dan takde tvvvvvvvvvv. Tanpa tv siapalah aku?

A bit disappointing. Apakahhhhhhhhhh? I mean walaupun aku tak tahu harga exact but the room definitely cost wayyyyyyyy more than RM40. I mean tak kesahla kalau bilik dia simple pon kalau harga dia rm4o, berpatutan la kan, tapi niiiiiiiiiiiiiii? Nasib baik ada air cond dengan water heater.

I was told standard room takde air cod = mati dimasak. Gilalah. Bila tengahari panas gila.

Ada sekali tu kitorang bongok, on air cond tapi tak letak mode “cool” series rasa macam nak dimasak dalam bilik.

Tapi takpelah, belasah je , okla tu dari tido di persisiran pantai dapat gak guling-guling atas katil kannn.

The view from our room was not bad, mengadap laut walaupun takdela depan lubang hidung tapi adela nampak sesikit, jadila kan hihi.

What great about this island is, dia takdela bogel berpantai je and you can see so many colours – shades of green and blue mostly.

Hehe tetibe tertangkap gambar neighbour aku pulak. Mostly the visitors on this island are Germans so that explain why sesetengah harga adalah dalam Euro [which is not so good news].

Dekat tepi-tepi pantai ada banyak pokok rendang which gave a little private touch if you want to lie down to relax or baca buku, macam takdela bogel sangat rasa. Adala macam allocated space.

I read from a pamphlet ke buku ntah tak ingat yang this island try to preserve as much nature as they can hence ada banyak pokok dan semua tempat berpasir.

Personally it was kind of naturalla jugak, takde banyak buildings or concrete. It gave the nice shady cool feeling.

And you can also find few lizards berkeliaran. Banyak pulak tu.

Beside those lizards, ada jugak benda lain.

Jeng jeng..jeng jeng

It’s black tip baby shark. Walaupun kecik tapi aku tetapppppppppp takuttttttttt. Imagine aku berenang tetibe dia gigit kaki aku, memangla tak putus tapi kalau melekat? Eeeeek

And those shark can be seen dekat persisiran pantai, tak payah pergi tengah-tengah laut ke apa. Walaupun the island is very humble yet the coral and reef are among the best. Jadi boleh nampak bermacam-macam jenis ikan.

Mandi jela dekat gigi air pon, nescaya akan nampak ikan beramas mesra. Dahla tak takut ok diorang ni.

Sesuai untuk orang yang jakun tapi penakut dan pemalas nak pergi jauh macam aku hehe.

We also managed to see some bangau.

Sekali lagi aku jakun. Padahal macamlah tak pernah tengok dekat zoo kan. Ceh

And also some scary looking crabs.

The beach was heavenly too. The water was so refreshing.

Yang biru pekat tu dah start coral. Do go there with your snorkeling gear, you would not regret it.

Bedmate sempat bermain beach volley. Walaupun aku pemalas tapi main gak, nak jugakk rasa  main beach volley tapi sekejap jela sebab lepas tu tangan aku sakit. Dah tahu tak reti main nakk jugakkk tuu hehehe

While he continued playing, I read a book sambil feeling sun bathing padahal tak sedar diri dah hitam haha. Sesekali nak feeling macam dalam tv kasi canlaaaaaaaaaaa.

Despite having no tv, no internet you can find many things to keep you occupied ¹. One of the many things that I like to do adalah pergi ke main jetty dan duduk tengok ikan.

Sungguhla leka, we also curik some bread from the buffet untuk bagi ikan makan walaupunnnnnnnnnn adalah dilarangggg. Tapi tak tahanla bang, I nak jugakk bagi ikan tu makan. Tengok ikan tu adalah mengasyikkan ok.

If you want more, they are workers who played futsal in the evening, you can join them if you want to. Kalau tak main badminton pon boleh.

Or you can ride this [aku tatau apa nama dia, yatch ke apa?]

The island is surrounded with coral garden tapi ada satu part tu adalah lagoon, dimana airnya adalah totally tenang. It looks like a desert sebab pasir dia sangat luas dan chantek, cuma ni desert yang ada air [wtf kau ni chics?]

So kire macam satu part banyak pokok, satu part pantai berpasir dengan ombak, satu part ada coral and satu part lagoon.

Banyak dalam 1 hehe.

Despite the humble room, everything else was perfect [well almost] and I could not be happier. Takde tv pon takpe coz by the time balik dinner adalah tido kayu. Zzzz zzzz macam tu.

Even when it was disco night [they have either disco night or magic shor or something that I cannot remember once a week] adalah tido awal despite feeling excited dan nak pergi.

And I think he agreed. Nature is the best.

But the best part was.. sunset.

Simply breathtaking.

We tried to wake up for sun rise, malangnya being me dan him yang penido hanya berjaya bangun sekali je. Sun rise dia dalam pukul 5.30 pagi dan masa sekali aku bangun tu adalah berawan. So tak nampakkkkkkkkk sun risenya.

Many raved about the food, from the reviews that I read bila dah balik [dah balik baru nak baca?] but I have to say the food was so-so.

It was buffet yes tapi kadang-kadang tak menepati citarasa, the salads were good though tapi dessert adalah gagal.

Except for ice cream! Nyamm.

They have themed dinner though, each night diorang akan tukar. So far we had Italian, Bbq, Western and Asean night.

My fav was Italian night,bukan sebab aku cas Italian tapi sebab tu jelaaa yang choice dia mostly menarik. Yang lain tu nama je themes tapi banyak kari. Apakahhhhhhhhhhhh?

It was a non smoking resturant, dulu smoking tapi skang tak boleh. Ramai orang complaint kot.

Like I said air tak termasuk dalam package so you have to buy one. Luckily we already knew and bought berbotol-botol air from Malé.

But there’s actually a trick to get free water – mintak air panas untuk bilik.They will give you in a flask for free. Hehe bongok jugak diorang ni kan.

Kadang-kadang gatal nak minum air lain so orderla . Carbonated drinks harganya dalam USD3 macam tula.

Oh ye, you have to share the table with other room. Lucky for us, we shared our table with our friends from different room so tak masalah nak buruk lantak ke apa.

Walaupun akau rasa takde besanya kalau share meja dengan orang lain hehe.

Other than that, we also went for night fishing and snokerling, itu nantila they deserve a special entry each.

To sum it all, it was a greatttttttttttttt holiday. Rasa tak nak balikkkkkkk okkkkkkkk. Nak- nak kene naik flight yang kene transit dekat Colombo dann nak kene tido atas flight :(

But what is all thatlah compared to the few days that we had under the sun?

Totally worth tido duduk ok.

Will definitely come back [despite tak tau bila heh].
