Finally, Wong Solo

So where did we went for berbuka? To one of the place yang aku teringin, Wong solo.

Although I have wrote about this place, I’ll write again coz some bunnies asked me about it.

This place is located at Taman Dagang, Ampang, not too far from Galaxy Mall. To those who have no idea where that is, I have a map for you.

Disebabkan we get back quite early from Jalan TAR, we reached the restaurant at 5pm. So I was thinking, dah sampai booklah dulu.

Turned out to be for ramadhan, you have to place your order from 4pm to 6.30pm, after 6.30 to berbuka tidak akan dilayan. You have to wait until they open their place again around 8.30pm.

You can also call them to book, the number is 03 – 4270 1947, tapi mungkin akan sedikit susah because they will need you to place your order immediately. Yela, kalau kau call camanala nak tengok menu pulak kan, unless you already know what you want to eat.

We went back to the restaurant around 7pm, that time, the place was already pack, they even had two extra tent outside.

Initially, I ordered avocado juice tapi dah habisla pulakkk so I changed it with mango juice.

Look how thick it was. Sangat pekat tak macam air mangga yang aku beli dekat pasar ramadhan tu. Yet it was too pekat that it could not hilangkan my kedahagaan so I have to order air suam, my all time favourite drink.

He ordered ice lemon tea, macam biasala.

Our food came on the dot with waktu berbuka so they were still hot. Some of the people have to wait quite sometime jugak for their food, maybe they datang lambat but ada jugak yang bila aku masuk makanan diorang dah tersedia atas meja.

Tak best also, dah sejuk.

For starters, we had emping. Nak gakkkk cakap starters tu haha

I always love this keropok yang aku panggil keropok malinjau. Although they are slightly bitter tetapi adalah setap. Dip it into the kicap and enjoy.

Although I have to say I prefer the sambal from Sundanese better. Gila setapp ok sambal sundanese.

He ordered a set for him, the usual one, ayam kenyet or penyet.

The set consist of  ayam [haha], terung berlado and tempe. I love the sambal, it’s fiery pedas, sampai aku rasa nak koma. Ni pedas dia macam sambal ani sup utara.

Mamat ni tetibe suka makan tempe, baiklah kita namakan dia mat tempe untuk siri ini. Mat tempe telah mengorder tempe sekali lagi bersama tauhu.

Again with the sambal.

As for me, walaupun setan telah terikat aku tetap menjadi kawan setan kerana adalah penamak. Tak mainlah set-set ni.

Ye kan, lepas tu tak larat nak habiskan. Ala tapi sikit je –>ni ayat defend diri sendiri sebelum orang maki aku.

I love the sambal combo, one is pedas and one is sweet. The only thing yang tak best was, the ikan was somewhat basah. Usually it was grilled sampai kering dan rangup. I guess it’s ramadhan time, they were rushing hence the quality deteriorated.

I also had sayur asem/asam.

The masam-nessblends well with other lauk walaupun kedengaran agak pelik. I love the wintermelon and brinjal they have there. Just thattttttttttttttt, again this time kurang kick, I blame it on the rushing preparation.

Tetapi.

Dalam-dalam kurang kick tu pon perut aku adalah terasa nak pecah dan terpaksa membuka zip di dalam kereta.

Keji sungguh, kesian betul siapa yang terpaksa share katil dengan dia ni.

Ok dah tu je. Aku tetibe sakit perut.
