To tempah or to buy?

I think this year I might not send any kain to the tailor.

Semalam pergi tengok kain, I calculated the kain [including lining apa bagai] would cost about 600-800 hundred per pair, kalau tempah dalam 300-450[ni kalau pergi Nancylah].

Fuckla.

Baik aku beli siap je kot lagi murah.

All this while, bukannya tak nak beli but I will sure face 1 major problem – takde saiz, tak terletak.

It is crucial to have terletak baju kebaya/baju kurung. Komfemla kalau aku beli kain dia labuh :(

D o you know any kedai that sells nice baju kurung/kebaya yang muat untuk orang macam aku?

I have no idea at all, sebab tak pernah beli.

By the way I don’t want kebaya nyonya or kain kasa type. Leceh tak budak ni? Songeh betul kan.

    p.s. saya ader dekat 7-8 pasang baju melayu…. saya rotate pakai satu pasang satu tahun…. paling kurang 8 tahun saya tak perlu tempah baju…. bijak kan saya…. :-)

    Chics, if you like to wear plain baju kurung yang ada a little embroidery, I suggest you check out Hugo Clothier at Semua House (it's on the 2nd floor kat belakang sedikit, bukan kedai depan escalator, kena jalan-jalan sikit) I bought my baju raya there last year and what I like about is that the kakak2 at the kedai is very obliging, siap korek-korek stock belum kena display lagi for me because I want a particular corak sulaman in a different color. And pastu siap iron lagi for me before I try it on.

    Also best is that they will offer to alter the baju on the spot without you asking pun. I mean of course you will try the baju kan, but they will request that you model for them how it looks so they can determine what need to be altered.

    It also goes without saying that of course the baju kurung there is quite cantek. (if you are into plain baju kurungs like me lah kan)

      Ahhh I will go theretoo, I love to go to Semua House sebab nak beli rempah biryani, plus ada stau Indian shop yang always fascinate me with their accessories. Nak beli tapi tatau nak pakai and nak pakai pergi mana

    aku pun. kalau beli saiz S, mesti kain & lengan baju senteng. If saiz M, mesti tak terletak pulak. Baju raya mmg mahal kan. Tapi ko kena tempah cepat la, kang kot Nancy taknak terima dah cane. Kan ko promote dia kat blog, mesti dia femes skang, hehe
