While I was alone the other day I found this video
I fall in love with her words instantly [although this is not the first time!]
I do agree that to come out with something good, you have to do it with from heart, emotion. I always find myself writing something I like when I am ruled by emotion and feeling – love, happines, warmth, guilt etc.
When I write thinking too much I will keep deleting and altering, make it not nice anymore.
So while I was on the way to Giant with him I told him about it
“I find it very true, you know I write the best when I have certain feeling inside me. And I cannot write when I am frustrated”
He just uh- uh only, still focusing on the road. Ces, penat aku cerita kau buat dengar tak dengar je.
When we almost reached Giant, I updated him on my attempt to cook zow zow duck without him. He’s the best pemasak maggie I’ve ever known so it’s only natural bila dia takde and aku masak sendiri, maggie tu jadi tak sedap.
He: Masak pun kene guna perasaan, kene ada the right feeling
Me: You are mocking me!
He: Hehe where got, it’s true I masak penuh kasih-sayang for you, that’s you macam mmm sedapp!
Me: Hoh *pandang luar tingkap tapi sebenarnya suka :P
He: True you know, or else why would chow sin chee named his masakan nasi dukacita ? He could name it something like Buddha jumps over the wall
Me: Haha no need to be so bongok till use that name ok!
He: No, it existlah. A very delicious but very difficult to prepare chinese dish
Me: Really? Why did they name it like that?
He: Because they use double boiler so, when air mendidih, wap air jumping-jumping like Buddha
Me: Buddha got jumping-jumping like wap air meh?
He: Hehe actually I bullshit you only. I don’t know why did they call the dish like that. Heheheeee
Mementangla aku bongok suka-suka je nak memperkotak-katikkan aku.
I thought he was bullshitting about the Buddha Jumps Over The Wall too but when I asked my chinese friends, they said memang betulla benda tu ada.
buddha jumps over the wall
Fineeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Cuma satu aku tak paham, motif nak guna chow sin chee sebagai contoh?
It was raining heavily this morning hence the crawl near the roundabout. From behind, I could hear a siren. I thought it was an ambulance, tau-tau jela hujan kan, ramai je yang still nak bawak laju.
But I was mistaken, it was a police traffic, riding his bike in the middle of the heavy rain. He then stopped in front of the traffic, despite not wearing any raincoat.
“Wow, how noble he is. Dalam hujan pun kawal traffic. Such a nice trafic police,” I said.
Tapi not too long after that I heard more sirens form behind and saw the police traffic asking people to make way for somebody.
I assumed it was either the king or mb or and menteri.
And I thought he was doing it for the sake of the people.
