Berjaya pergi Wong Solo eventhough terpaksa menempuh halangan. We arrived around 5 something, but decided to lepak first, he and his friend sempat la jugak main ps2 game apa ntah sekejap. Nearly 6.30 we made our move tapi bila parked je kereta I saw the “closed” sign on the door.
Apaaaaaaaaaaaa? Tutup? Adakah ini merupakan kali kedua that I will not be able to eat there? The first time we decided to go, KL was flooded and jammed. Despite already having images of ayam penyet in my mind, we had to dine at Sakura Fuji instead. Takkanla lagi sekali kot? Ni lagi sadis, dah sampai dah pon. Ni yang rasa nak berguling-guling ni.
Turned out to, the will re open after maghrib. Fine. Aku ajak budak-budak ni balik sembahyang dulu tak nak, nak jalan-jalan lah pulak. So we went to the Galaxy mall and masuk kedai Korea beli apa-apa ntah and waited for azan. Azan je, we walked again to the kedai.
“Pukul 8 ya mbak, kami belum solat”
Cis. Okla, fine pukul 8. Kalau aku datang kau tak kasi masuk jugak, mau aku bakar kedai kau kang. Dari ayam bakar boleh tukar nama kedai bakar. Heheh gile tak kelakar.
So we came back at 8 something-something dan this time berjaya!
Suke tau!
And so we ordered. I wanted sayur asem tapi dah habisla pulakkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Itulah menu utama yang aku nak order. Weird, when I was in Jakarta I hate sayur asem and soto jawa tapi bila aku dah balik Shah Alam teringin-ingin. Sayur asamm ohhhhhh.
Jus jagung sakinah
I ordered jus jagung. Tak rasa jagung, rasa santan tapi sebagai seorang yang buruk lantak, santan pon santanlahhhhhh.
Ayam Bakar
This is a signature dish, ayam bakar wang solo. The two cicah make it nice. Satu manis lagi satu pedas-pedas manis. The yellowish thnigy on the chicken is kerisik. I didn’t taste this one but I bet it’s sedap, well judging from the look and smell.
Ayam Kenyet
Orang ayam penyet die ayam kenyet. Bantailah. But the chilli and garlic on top of the chicken adalah sungguh melazatkan ayam itu, ditambah pula dengan ayam yang crunchy. Krup krup. Pedas semua cukup.
Terung Berlado
Not bad, but a bit sweet. Dengan perasan dan tak malunya aku berkata, terung bercili aku lagi sedap. Hehehehe. Diakui oleh swirly yang komfemla terpaksa mengaku :P
Ikan Bakar
I ordered siakap for my ikan bakar. Oh my. I love the one at Waroeng Penyet but I love this one more. Ikan banyak isi and rangup, diamsak dengan kicap pedas manis. The taste was enhanced by the two sauce. Succulent! Makan sampai tinggal tulang, to pon tulang dia ada yang aku makan.
Basically that were all the food that we ordered yesterday. Memang tak banyak but enough to make my stomach sings. Nasib baikla aku pakai tights hari tu kalau tak mau balik zip terbukak sebab boroi sangat1. I tried Waroeng Penyet before and loved it but I read reviews saying that Ayam Bakar Wong Solo Restaurant is better and it’s true! Saya akan datang lagi dan semestinya akan cuba sayur asem. I bet it’s also nice than the one that they have in Waroeng Penyet.
Later, my excitement doubled when I found this.

Sudah. Aku dah tak larat nak tulis. I am so full, therefore I am going to continue eating my Korean chips. Haha.
